Born in The Netherlands, he lived in Australia for 25 years. He has been living in the UK since 1979, currently in Hove East Sussex.
His short stories and poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies.
“Dangerous Woods” won 1 st prize in the Writers Forum Short Story Competition in 2005.

Some of his poems have been translated into German and Romanian.
